To install your resume / job posting website s cript, follow these steps:

You will need to edit many files to get your s cript and template configured properly. I would suggest a free tool that allows you to edit many text files at once:

Notepad will work just the same, but this will save you lots of time!

In your crimson editor, open all files that came with the zip folder. Now you will need to "search" and "replace" the following in EVERY file that was in the zip folder. This will take care of customizing your s cript and template all at the same time.

Replace:
YourWebsiteName

With:
Your Actual Website Name

Relace:

Now you need to upload all files into the public folder on your webserver (usually the 'www' or 'public_html' folder). It is suggested that you create a seperate folder for this s cript (for example, public_html/resume/).

Once all files are uploaded, you need to CHMOD:

CHMOD the resume/siteadmin, resume/siteadmin/banners,resume/ jobseekers & resume/employers directories to 777.

CHMOD the conn.php file in the resume, resume/siteadmin, resume/jobseekers & resume/employers directories to 777.

Next, you need to create a MySQL database for your s cript. Remember the name of the database, and the username / password you provided for it. You will need these details to install everything.

Next, run the install.php file from your web-browser:
Example: http://www.yourdomain.com/resume/install.php

After you fill in all the details and successfully install the s cript, DELETE this file from your server!!

Now you are ready to login to your control panel:
http://www.yourdomain.com/resume/siteadmin/
username: test
password: test

Remember to change these details to secure your site!
